No. I checked Task Manager and didn't see anything eating CPU cycles. All I saw was Solid Designer "not responding."

I'm going to try running the benchmark again and carefully note what the workstation does, then post back here.

hi Claus

is there any possibility to run it into HP-UX platform?

I'm testing it on all our PCs and I would like to have them compared to smoking big machines!!

You'll probably be disappointed. Anyway, the code should run just fine on HP-UX as well; I just uploaded a version of the viewbench_code.zip file to the ftp.cocreate.com. The new archive contains a "viewbench.so" file which is the HP-UX version of the benchmark.

Question Problems running benchmark

When I try to run the test I get an error “file not found” I get this for every pkg-file the test should load.
I have all files in the same dir. Both viewbench models and viewbench code files.
OSD 11.5, Win-2000sp2

That's exactly the problem. The models need to be in a subdirectory called "models".

I would be interested in these results as well. I thought HP-UX workstations were falling behind in 3D graphics performance since HP stopped developing new graphics hardware. It looks like their top of the line is still the Visualize fx10 which is a couple of years old.
