It is the old thing I ever ask

I hope something will change under the sun.

I want not bore you, but time to time it comes out.
I think the trouble to make perspective view on annotator is to store some extra view data to memorize 3D view settings from where the layout was born.
But it could be not necessary to maintain associativity on this 2D perspective view.
Could be enought (and easier maybe) to arrange the view and update it first time and when you store the view all perspective view data could be lost. If you need to update the view you have to remake the view yourself.

ok ok I tried it

Re: Annotator perspective view

I miss the perspektive on my annotation drawing too.
When i draw a latter beside a truck it look strange and my customer can't imagine the result. I now i can use render, but the customer reqest is that he want a 2D drawing in his CAD system.

Re: Annotator perspective view

It sound like it's possible to do it today, with a goodies or workaround. Or maybe it's me that understand it wrong.

Any suggest will be loved!

Re: Annotator perspective view

Hi Stefano,

What do you think of by 'perspektive views' ?
A view, where edges in the background are drawn shorter than those nearer
to the eyes.
Or a view, that doesn't show edges only, but shaded faces as well.
Or both combined?

Re: Annotator perspective view

Hi Michael
I'm sorry, but missed your reply.
What I like is a true perspective setting with escape point and where edges in the backgraund are smaller then closer one.
Exactely the same of when you set 3D viewport on perspective mode, but like Annotator view (maybe under general views) this Annotator perspective view, with or without hidden line will follow the same rules of other standard Annotator views (saved in MI format).
I hope it will appen soon.

ciao

P.S.:it was an option in old ME30 (OSD father)

Re: Annotator perspective view

What's New in Designer Modelling 2006, says:
"New perspective view ceation based on a single cutaway, section or detail".
Really?!!?
Is it what I think?
I'll love it!

Re: Annotator perspective view

Well, guess it's not what you hope it is...

In fact it's a general view, that depends on a parent view -
so it is possible to see a view with a section and/or cutaway
in addition from a different direction.

So keep on voting...
