Creating a custom title block
Sorry everyone, hopefully someday I'll be answering other people's questions on here instead of asking so many myself... This is my only resource for info on this software though it seems.
I'm currently trying to figure out how to create a new/alternate title block so I can include a company logo and do some other stuff... So far, all I've figured out how to do is delete the default title block and start a new sketch , which includes a vertex point that I can't for the life of me figure out how to do anything with (other than select/highlight it, and move it to another part of the screen) . Anyone have any experience in doing this? If I could even figure out how to just start drawing it, I could maybe take it from there, but ultimately it'll be similar to the current title block but with an image in one cell, and text in the rest |

Re: Creating a custom title block
Ok sorry, I figured it out. My new question however is, how can I USE a title block that's been saved as a template?
when i double click on the template in the template browser it gives me an error saying "The action to be called can not be executed. am_load_sketch_multiple... The required module might not be started, the action is not loaded or can not be found." Is that related to the fact that I'm using PE instead of the full version? Re: Creating a custom title block
You are correct. Because Modeling PE is not designed to be used in a production environment, this functionality is disabled.

I really need to get on my boss about actually buying the software (and a new computer to run it on instead of my laptop...) As an intern (for now) I don't have much sway around here yet but I digress... Thanks for the info on that! |

General: it's quite useful to modify an existing frame instead of trying to create one from scratch. Save's a lot of work. Register frame in am_customize (that's same in full version and PE version): http://ww3.cad.de/foren/ubb/Forum29/HTML/003369-2.shtml#000012

Re: Creating a custom title block
Another option (though not as ideal) would be to create your frame and save it as a bundle (bd2) file. Then when you need to create a new drawing with the frame, load that file first before adding new views.
