P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
Hi.
I am using the following lisp tool. And I translated some which I can tell by the function itself. But the rest is mystery, because I haven't tried and errored yet. Would someone give a help to translate the bottom half? Dialog areas are enough. P.S. Today, it took me a little while until what this tool does because I did not bother converting the original letters while I was using it, now I know my memory function is not as good as CoCreate customization.

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
My Dutch is limited, but I'll give it a try. :]
P.C.D. "teilkreisgeo" should give thought of P.C.D. "part shared circle geometry" This is a loose translation since three words are stuck together. "Initialisierungspunkte" should mean "Update Initial points" or "Define Initial Points" "In Unsichtbare andern" should mean "Invisible to other(s)" or "Blind to other(s)" "Nur bei Bohrung selbst" should mean "Only with even Drilling" or "Only with smooth (fine) Drilling" "Mittelpunkt bis Bohrung" should mean "Center Hole to Drilling" or "Hole Drilling to Center" Maybe Claus can give you a better hand at this. ;]

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
I had translated this file a long time ago. Unfortunatly it was before I had learned how to include multiple languages, so I did not post it back up on the german website.
Here it is. Tom radial-centerlines-15.lsp

Tom,
How would one execute that lsp program? I had tried File > Load > Lisp Source, but nothing happened in Annotation.

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
Considering that the original strings were in fact German, your Dutch took you quite far

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
Thanks for the translation, Tom, (again translation?)
I remember that I got some english versions of tools on osd.cad.de and added the messages and made a bi-linguar lisp file, available at http://osd.cad.de. But 'Teilkreis Geo' ??? hmmm.. @wathavy : fill search engine with "teilkreis site:OSD.cad.de" and you'll find where you picked it up, I guess. And at the bottom of the file there's 2-liner: PHP Code:
It would also have been possible simply searching for some of the expression in the lisp file itself.. like "ml_aendern_merker"... ----------------------- I just uploaded a combined english/german version as http://osd.cad.de/downloads/teilkreisgeo_15.lsp. Tom, this version works a little bit different (just internally) regarding the settings. May be you would like to give it a try?

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
I use the term translation loosely. Why bother translating the variable names? The chance of really screwing something up is to great doing that.

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
Thank you Tom and Wolfgang.
I managed to obtain what I wanted. BTW, can I have the line color same as what I use for my center line color? Or if possible, I hard cord the color into the lisp, if I know how to. Thank you.

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
This is a pretty handy tool, but I sure hope CoCreate incorporates native Auxiliary Geometry (along with Center, Symmetry, and Slot) for this functionality. I rely on the link between Modeling and Annotation to reduce the number of things I forget - without PCD lines being updated automatically it's likely I will forget to move or recreate the PCD lines and have bad parts made.

Re: P.C.D line lisp tool translation.
Getting an error (see image below) when trying to load this into 16.50, if I comment out the line begining with ruler-cl-pnts and the one begining with ruler-cl-exist it loads fine.
Both have the same error about Odd length of keyword-value pair list and I can not tell which text length has the problem. Has anyone else run into this error? Last edited by Thom Ivancso; 05-06-2011 at 04:23 AM. |
