Conditional Sweep

I miss functionality for making a conditonal sweep

in other SW. like CATIA & Pro/E its possible to create an Conditional sweep:

sweep a section around a 3d curve, but section should not follow the tangent of curve but should maintain a predefined direction f.i. normal direction of a plane, or edge direction..

such is needed for modeling a CAM - CAM-folower

Thumbs up Re: Conditional Sweep

would be quite a nice functionality, I know it can not be done in Inventor 9, and
that the mentioned functionality is not available in OneSpace Designer Modeling as it is implemented in Pro/E.

I had a few time's the question of a customer to design a CAM follower
(and to be honnest I used Pro/E to define it, and saved it as STEP file, and continued with STEP file in OneSpace Designer Modeling...)

lets wait and see wat happens....

Cheers & Lotsa Greetings
Woody
