move face to a formatted dimension
what is the best way to move a face to a certain dimension. for example if you want to change a part with a length of 98.6535433 to 100

I don't know if it is the BEST way, but the way I do it is to put the desired value into the calculator, then make a measurement of the existing geometry to get the current value, subtract to get the difference, then use that as the length input in an Offset Face or Move 3D Face command by clicking on the 'x' indicator in the calculator line that has the value, which will put that number into the length box in the command.

I think another way is to put a 3D-dimension at the face. Then you can move your face by using the option dimension. There you can put in the new dimension.
