Dimensioning

I am having a problem removing the Diameter symbol in the annotator. Every time I highlight , it adds it back in. The only way that I can get it to work is to place the dim and modify the dimfix. We use the word "DIA" as a postfix. I tried to fix my drawing the way it should be and save the dimfix file but I get the Diameter symbol and Diameter text. Is there a work around for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is in SD ver 9.00 and 9.1.3.1 Thanks, Frank

re: Dimensioning

Find the file am_customize in ...SolidDesignerpersonalitysd_customizeANNOTATION or in your $SDUSERCUSTOMIZEDIR, if you have one and search for the line: >>;;(AM_DIM_SET_A_PLACE :AUTOMATIC_FIXES "OFF")<< Remove the leading semi-colons, save the file and restart Annotator. This should help.
