Move datum or absolute view positioning

There seems to be no easy way to move the 0,0 orgin for a sheet once the views have been placed or when locating the initial view to this orgin. When creating views, it would be great to tell the first view to be located by the ABSOLUTE position or be able to lay down construction lines in advance. Once all views are in place, changing the 0,0 location can only be accomplished by one view at a time. Am I missing something or are these statments correct? Talking about SD 9.01. Thanks!
