Creating external threads?
working on a school project
trying to make a socket head cap screw with 1/4-20 UNC thread. I am very use to Pro Engineer, how do I make an external thread in CoCreate? The help section stated to use the settings tab but I do not see one. |

Are you trying to cut a helical thread, or use the Machining process that allows you to show a simplified thread form in 2D? For standard fasteners, I usually download them from www.mcmaster.com
To cut a helical thread, you need to look in the Freeform menus, to do the simplified, you need to look in the Machining menu |
