Thumbs down Annotation -Undo function (Done in OneSpace Modeling 2007)

I feel like this is such a fundamental function describing it is a bit ridiculous...but the point is made if i move geometry, calculated or not. Sure I can undelete the calculated geometry, but not being able to move back to my original location?! Please tell me I just haven't found this function, because it is a very basic but important need.

Undo for Annotation has been the top enhancement request for many years. I will leave it to CoCreate people to explain why they have been unable to add this feature, but they have told us it would be a big job.

Re: Annotation -Undo function (Done in OSDM 2007)

In the 2007 release, Annotation has a new consistent undo/redo functionality with CoCreate OneSpace Modeling that addresses the issues above.

Re: Annotation -Undo function (Done in OneSpace Modeling 2007)

Hello,

now we have undo/redo function on Annotation.
But the solution to mix the Modelling and Annotion record can create some problem. So try to image if you do some operation in Modelling and then some in Annotation and try do undo the Modelling operation. It is possible only if lost the Annotation operation!!! Is there a (hidden) setting to avoid this behaviour? Thanks in advance.

GiorgioL.

In the release of CoCreate OneSpace Modeling 2007, marcvonams is referring to the attached warning window.

If you are ever in this position where you don't want to undo all your Annotation steps...
1. Save the drawing
2. Expand the Undo menu with in Modeling (Edit > Undo/Redo. See attached.)
3. Precisely step backwards to your desired Modeling step (but make sure you don't undo any Annotation viewsets)
4. Reload and update the drawing
5. Continue with Modeling and Annotation
