Copying view sets
Is there a way to copy a view set in SD7.02? I would like to create a new drawing from one I already have. The problem is that I will have to make some small changes to the view set (i.e. make additional cutaway views) for the new drawing so I cant keep the two drawings linked to the same view set. I could just a create new drawing and view set from scratch but I have already put a lot of work into the one I already have (i.e. 5 views with cutaways and details) and just copying the view set and drawing would save me a lot of time. Is there anyway I could do this without having to create a new view set from scratch???? Thanks in advance! Andy

re: Copying view sets
In Solid 7.11 there is a specific command "Attach Dwg" that make the work you want. Have a good day.

re: Copying view sets
"Attach Drawing to Copy" is the solution but be aware I found a bug with this process around that SD version. If the part or assembly is shared then the new drawing will attach to the wrong shared version and the process will go poorly. Just unshare the original beforehand. The bug is fixed in SD7.2 and 7.5 that I recall.
