Select Entity

WHAT I DO TO HIGHLIGHT A SELECTED ENTITY IN A MACRO COMMAND.

The 2 easily accessed commands that will highlite an entity are select and the newer command preselect. If all you wish to do is highlite something, you can use a fragment of code such as:

READ PNT "Select entity to highlight" A
PRESELECT A

If you wish to highlite an entity (or group) while in a command, as long as the command uses the select option, you would call select while in the middle of it, for example:

READ PNT "Identify part to delete" A
DELETE SELECT PARTS A

At this point, the partbox will be highlited until a confirm command is executed or the command cancelled.
