Making Tapped holes look right - with link
I am trying to move from ME10 and figure out how to work with Annotator, particularly with respect to tapped holes. In the front view I have added four geometry lines; 2 for the drill point, and two to fill in the 'counterbore' so it looks like a tapped hole. The top view shows the hole as modeled. In the right view I am unable to change the line type of the outer circle to make it look like a tapped hole. Am I doing this the old hard way? Does anyone have any advice on how else to model a tapped hole or how best to make annotator look right based on how I model? Greg, Your image file was not viewable. Have you looked at the SD customization area of this site?
