create_vp invisible

Hi Guys,
it is possibile create a viewport not visible or iconized ?
I find the create_vp method, but not have documented nothing.
I have written a small macro that creates a viewport,
charging inside a part and creates the thumbal.
Works but the customer does not like that you
open and close a viewport ...

Thanks
Vincenzo.

Re: create_vp invisible

What are you trying to achieve with the script?

Re: create_vp invisible

Hi vpapa,

there are some undocumented paramters of create_vp command.
Maybe, one of them could be useful for your script.
Try:
(create_vp :name "vport" :OFFSCREEN)

A new hidden
viewport is generated and you can use to generate icons.

The :OFFSCREEN is available at least from Rev. 15.50.
