Load a drawing in windows 2000
I have a problem when I try to load a drawing from me10 installed in windows 2000 when the file is inside a directory with many other files (almost 10000). Me10 blocks itself and is necessary to kill the process. With NT 4.0 this problem is not present, also on the same computers.

re: Load a drawing in windows 2000
Paolo, What you are seeing is not ME10, but Windows 2k. If you open a Microsoft application like WORD and select file > open and set the file type to "all files" and then go to that same directory, it will hang as well. Microsoft changed something in the way 2k and XP handles files, and this causes a huge slowdown with folders that have many files. If you wait long enough, it probably will list the files. If you have this many mi files, you might want to look at Drawing Manager. You can see an online demo of it at . http://www.cocreate.com/drawingmanager
