Import Step with thread

Hi,

I need to import a lot of step files in modeling (from solidedge), but it doesn't recognize threaded holes !!

Is there an option to keep threads during the translation ??

Thanks for your answers

Re: Import Step with thread

Hello Sébastien,

I am sorry to tell you that feature information such as information about threaded holes are not imported into Modeling. Normally, a standard STEP file doens't even contain information about features. There are STEP extensions that allow the transfer of feature information but I doubt that the SolidEdge STEP file contains any. However, you should be able to see the 3D geometry that the feature information was attached to.

You should use CoCreate Reselers contract to investigate this statement
Anyway, could you provide the STEP file ? (on my business Email)
