Problem with Toshiba Satellite running cocreate

I have a Toshiba Satellite and have loaded Cocreate personal to carry out an evaluation before purchasing.
When i open the software and go to draw a rectangle or any other line the work plane w1 dissappeares from the screen. can any one advise on a solution, I have checked for any update for the graphics card and there are no new updates. the lap top is only 9 months old. It dose have 3G Ram.

Operating system version? What's the graphics configuration (hardware, driver version)?

it is a toshiba satellite u300
mobille intel R965 express chip set family which i have just upgraded to the latest version

Ah, I see.

We've had several reports about problems with Intel Express chipsets. One potential workaround is to set an environment variable called "SDPIXELFORMAT" and assign the value "SOFTWARE" (without quotes) to it.
