Converting line types from dwg to me10

Hi,

I need help regarding conversion dwg to me10...

Is it maybe possible when translating dwg to me10 for linetypes to be recognized by me10?

I would need hidden lines/center lines to be in ME-10's layers automatically.

Thanks

The dashed and centerlines types should tranlate fine into mi format (controlled by the dxfdwg.con file).
They will not go into their own layers though, you'd have to write a macro to put them in the appropriate layers.

Re: Converting line types from dwg to me10

Thank you for your reply...

Would you happen to know is it possible to extend a line for a certain value?

In autocad there is an option lengthen->delta which allows you to extend a line for i.e 5mm without construction lines

Is there anything like that in ME10 because I need that option very often and I'm tired of construction lines especially if the line is under an angle.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Have you tried MODIFY - STRETCH.
You can use it with a value or you can use COPILOT to indicate a "from - to" translation.
