Namespaces
Hello guys....
it's possible to make a list of all namespaces registered in the system? There's some document, over the guide, that explain INFOS and NAMESPACES to study them? Thanks Luca G. |

I don't have much experience with this, but my understanding is that a Namespace is a specifier used to separate Infotexts into different groups. This helps avoid name conflicts.
If I remember right this feature was added 4-5 major revisions back. Before that there was just one collection of Infotexts similar to the current default Namespace, so many old macros do not use Namespace specifiers. Here is what the Programming Reference has to say (I think the first "Infotexts" is a typo and should say "Namespaces"). Quote:
