.mi to .dxf batch converter "unexpected quits"

I have folders of ME10 - Drafting 2007 files in folders without the.mi extension. I have tried the batch converter on two different machines & it quits part way through. I try to restart it, excluding the next file, but it fails again shortly after.

Any suggestions? There are 100's of files. I have tried to work with one folder at a time but its still fails. I have also tried in safe mode, etc. It fails in different places if I use the .dwg or .dwf converters.

Are there any commercial converters that work better for .mi files? Can I get the latest batch converter?

What is you favorite tool to batch convert from .dxf to .pdf?

Thanks!

Re: .mi to .dxf batch converter "unexpected quits"

We have had very good success for converting .mi files directly to .dwg, .dxf, .cgm or .pdf files. The software is Imagenation by Spicer. However, in the recent time, Spicer was aquired by OpenText. Under the file formats it can read both ME10 .mi files and compressed .mi files.

The software comes with a Batch File Manager. Amazingly in the version we have, the batch conversion from one CAD 2D output to another 2D formation is nearly WYSIWYG or 99% identical coming from an .mi file of ME10 or CoCreate Annotation.

Re: .mi to .dxf batch converter "unexpected quits"

Hi, logical.
As for myself, I have seldom tried to convert from .dxf to .pdf. I wonder have you worked it out? When it comes to PDF conversion process, I have another question for you. I wonder have you ever tried to convert PDF to image files before? I am testing the related PDF to JPG converting , PDF to PNG converting , and PDF to BMP converting programs these days. Do you have experience about it? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Salvatore

Hi there,
Have you already tried IrfanView.

http://www.irfanview.com/

The program can open PDF and then store them in all possible graphic formats.
Batch translation is also possible.
