Re: Some unidentified Point
Just from your screen shot it's hard to say.. so several questions:
does it only appear on YOUR machine.. ? ... with YOUR login? what about if your colleague is opening same file(s)? Would you like to post such an MI files (may be reduced, of cause)? Is it really a point? Does it vanish with the next redraw? Can you switch on vertices? Can you select these "points" and use INQ_ELEM on it?

Re: Some unidentified Point
Are you using an input device like a SpaceBall or SpaceNavigastor to rotate your geometry or pan your geometry? If so, that temporary looking point will go away with a refresh/redraw of the screen.

Re: Some unidentified Point
Thank you for attention.
1、This Points are real and can be printed . So i need to delete them before printing my drafting. 2、This Points don't appear always, just sometimes. 3、There are ME10 2007 and 2005 both in my machine, maybe is it the reason? such as :When I open a 2005 version MI file in 2007,and next time I open it ,the points appears. (just my guess, not sure) |

Re: Some unidentified Point
Morning Everyone,
I have witnessed these 'points' initially they aren't selectable but show up on plots/prints. You can see them in the print preview screen however it isn't until you reopen the file that these items can be deleted. In a previous CAD package (Vectorworks) i used, these 'points' were called '2D Locus' points (& you weren't able to print / just use as a reference / or snap to loci) but ME10 2008 uses triangular points. Frustrating that nobody can identify what these are. Hopefully someone out there knows the answer ......as if by magic the first drawing I open a couple appear. On different Part Layers coloured 'green' - three in total? http://i.imgur.com/2VIls.jpg (sorry for the Img quality) Last edited by Sparkyliveson; 11-14-2011 at 11:23 PM. Reason: Photo added |
