Exporting Smaller STEP Files

Our vendors are noticing that our STEP files are very large compared to other files they receive. I've tried different STEP settings and also reduced the accuracy of the part to 10 x -3mm and they are still pretty large. What can I do to make the STEP files smaller? The part is drafted and fully blended.
