Dimensioning from two different views

Does anyone know how to dimension between two different views. I am using Annotate 2000+. I have extended an aux centerline from one view into another and am trying to dimension from between the views. I understand you can change owners of geometry but it doesn't appear to work for aux geom. Can anyone help????? Thanks

re: Dimensioning from two different views

Have a look at ...CoCreateSolidDesigner 9.1.0.15documentationAnnotationroken_wa.htm There are hints how to dimension broken views. This would work for your application too.

re: Dimensioning from two different views

Another possibility might be the "External Base Point" in the Coordinate DIMS. This will work for views with the same direction. I was designed to be used to parent and detail view....
