I like using 3D dimensions to drive model changes. But the viewport gets cluttered when I have even a few 3D dimensions on parts in a small assembly-it is unusable with large assemblies. Currently it is mostly a all-on/all-off situation to show/hide 3D annotations. I would like better tools so that I could, for example, turn 3D annotations on/off per part or per assembly. Or, automatically turn them on/off when selecting a face or setting an active part.
