Re: part resolution

I tried all the available save formats that Creo Elements can actually load and the best by...

Re: how to change workplane geometry/construction line weight

Thanks, Tom!
I knew it could be done but there are so many settings and it takes so long to get to them (go into the edit->settings menu repeatedly) that I missed the ones I needed.

Note that...

I am sure that the capability exists to change workplane geometry and construction line weights/widths/thickness but I cannot find it. I have looked through all the settings, etc. and searched these...

Re: Changing the mouse-wheel zoom "direction"

I had some trouble with a specialty mouse a few years ago and found a third party mouse driver that lets you do a bunch of custom things (remapping keys, inverting scroll wheel, etc.) It is called...

Re: Slow response V17 and XP x64

Nope, I did not take it as harping. It is interesting, though.

I see the naming issue at Agilent as well. Marketing does some really lame naming. Us users just want a one word descriptor that...

Re: Slow response V17 and XP x64

Thanks, Andy. I was not aware that I needed to do a lot more typing each time I try to name ME30/SolidDesigner/OneSpace Modeling/..../Creo Elements/Direct! (I am sure I missed a bunch of the...

Re: Slow response V17 and XP x64

Yes, but all the troubleshooting data I have seen for graphics problems with Creo Direct say that one should use the Aero theme with transparency enabled. I'll try turning off Aero and see if my...

Re: Slow response V17 and XP x64

I also had slowdowns in my graphics response. Felipe Rosendo suggested that I re-install my video card driver. There was a slight version change (259.57 instead of my previous 259.29) of the...

Re: CoCreate Modeling memory handling

Our company is still using XP.

BTW, Claus, I tried finding any information on the (iconify-without-trimming) command in the goodies and was not able to do so. The command was not found and my...

CoCreate Modeling memory handling

Back in 2003, I had a problem with SolidDesigner paging out when minimizing the window. I got some help from CoCreate and our local gurus that involved loading a dll called iconify.dll and then...

FYI, when I updated to the 8.563- version of the drivers for my ATI FireGL card, I got some strange behaviors as well - only the end faces of a cylinder with a longitudinal hole in it were drawn,...

Re: Workplane cursor snapping

Great call, Gary! removing all customizations DID solve the problem. Of course, I have a lot of customizations so it may take time to track down the culprit.

Thanks!
