I've never heard that kind of function, I supposed even you can achieve this with lisp, a lot of manul adjustment works still needed.

The best way is I think to create/difine standard 3D model(Sub parts) for function and just merge this kind of sub parts as your will, but this do need a lot pre-works and experience.

Did you use the GD&T tool, from my view you can use the line profile to control the tolerance and the inpection guys can use 2D or 2.5D projector to measure that.

Do you want to change the 3D geometry by a demesion drivering way or you want to dimension in 2d drawing?

if the former, I supposed you may need to re-create the spline and re-sweep this bar.

That's right, I can reduce the quantity of mesh to make the anlysis be more safer. I just want to block more memory for nastran.
