The text editor is useful only to view file informations stored in the file.
To reduce the file size, you have to use the ME10 program. How I have already said, with 19 version the size is reduced...

I haven't information about history file.
In order to reduce the file size, store file. In my case (ME10 19) the new file size is about 2kB.
Inside the original file (~26MB)...
