loft to sheetmetal

also in regards to my previous post, we do not have model manager. we are saving our files within our own windows environments and transferring files between a couple of us. we are a small R&D group.

I'm having the same problem. we have 2 people working on the same assembly. we are saving the top level assembly as a pkg file, saving the drawings as an mi file. the new top level files are renamed...

curious to how you are saving your assemblies. we also don't have a model manager...only store our files in windows. to share files between engineers we put the files on a flashdrive and load....

we are currently using 16.0 & 17.0, some of us just haven't upgraded. there are no issues, so why upgrade. using XP & windows7. so we have a mishmash of setups.

my understanding is that the software is made that way on purpose as they don't want us being able to go between a paid subscription version and the personal. so in other words they aren't compatible...
