Re: Import .stl files
The .stl file is basically a 3D point cloud file. There is no face or solid geometry defined by it.
Modeling can create this file type but doesn't load it back as a solid model.

The command is (load "am_leader"). You can add this to your am_customize file to have it loaded at startup.

Re: Copy a sketch and not only move
I was having this same issue recently.
Defining a template is still on the Sketch menu. It is called Define.
They caused confusion by removing the Template panel on the Sketch menu.

My guess is that the .chm files are located on a network drive. See the link below for the details.

Re: High Performance Laptop Suggestions?
We just got a Dell M6300 about a week ago. Haven't had much time to spend on it. Seems to run OSM 15.5 just fine. Wasn't sure about the glossy screen, but after using it some it wasn't that bad.

:tol :percent_tol 9

Add this spring to any assembly. With the tolerance set to .5 the centroid macro will error out. Increasing the tolerance limit will allow the macro to finish.

Re: Centroid !
I have had the same problem when there is a helical spring in the assembly. These springs are created with the Helix command on the Freeform menu.
Do you have a model with freeform surfaces?
