hatching section clipping

hatching section clipping in modeling v20 where do you disable it?
the command
(elan :: prim-set-show-clip-hatches nil)
does not work

I am not sure about version 20, but in version 19 go to Viewport Settings, Show and click the check box of for Clip Hatches.

Tom's statement for v19 about the "Show" settings also works on v20.

You can also get directly to that page by right-clicking in the viewport and selecting "Show Properties ..."
