CoCreate User Forum - Formations

I know that formations are not a supported tool from CoCreate. But since there appears to be no other way to do exploded views, our hands are tied. Here is a problem I have found using formations. Currently if I have a subassembly loaded in SD and create some formations, save them and make an exploded annotation view, it works o.k. If I load an upper assembly that contains this subassembly, and I go looking for my formations for that subassembly, you can't see them. You have to have just the assembly that those formations are attached to loaded. I can live with that, but here is the next BIG problem. If I load an upper assembly that contains the subassembly (which has the formations attached to it) in it and save the subassembly again, you will loose your formations that are in the subassembly. This is being quite painful. Is there a solution or workaround for this.
