Part Library Help

Hi all,

I’m new to Cocreate and this forum so be gentle!

I’m liking the Part Library module for creating holes and automatically adding the correct thread info to my 2D drawings. I would like to use non-standard thread types, can someone please tell me how to add different thread types to the thread table?

I also have tried to use the “Material” function of Part Library but I have no idea how to get that information onto my 2D drawings! Or any other way of defining a material and having it show up on my drawings. Anyone know??

Found answer to my first question:

Edit the file “C:\Program Files\CoCreate\CoCreate Part Library 2008\sd_4\gewinde\metrfein.dat” for metric fine threads then reload Part Library in CoCreate!

Still can’t figure out the materials thing! Any way of getting a parts material to show up automatically in its draft file would be great!
