Modeling PE Tutorial

Good Afternoon, all...

First post. I found CoCreate Modeling Personal Edition 2.0 just recently and discovered to my delight that it has everything that I'm interested in. In particular sweeps and splines and the ability to pull and tug vertices. However, I do have a question? Are there any books available that offer step by step tutorials? I have been going through the Help index for various questions and answers, but, hoped that there was a printed version somewhere? Glad to be aboard....

Hello and welcome to the forum. I moved your thread to the CoCreate Modeling Personal Edition forum since it is a better place to ask this question than the Web Site and Forum Info forum. There is a 1 month redirect in the original forum.

Unfortunately there are not many inexpensive options available to help someone learn to use CoCreate Modeling, either PE or the purchased version. PTC does hold live and online classes and offers online self paced eLearning training through PTC University (http://www.ptc.com/products/ptc-university/), but these cost over $1000.

I have never seen any books and a quick search of Amazon just turned up nothing. The only "book" type training materials I have seen is what they use in the live classes (PDF file of class notes), but the only way to get these from PTC is to attend a class.

I have never installed the PE version, but I think 2.0 includes the Quickstart Projects under Help. This is a good way to get started.

There are also quite a few video tutorials on specialized topics available on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/). Just search for CoCreate.

PTC just announced Modeling PE 3.0 which is includes the version 17 user interface enhancements. You may want to check it out. Lots of handy enhancements over PE 2.0 which I believe was based on version 15.

This is probably the only OneSpace book sold in market... http://findbook.tw/book/9789861491615/basic, but it's in old version and in chinese language. :)
