I want to unroll a surface to obtain a curve like this:

I know of a few other CAD packages with the sheet metal module that can do this since your flat pattern looks like a seam weld. It would be nice to hear from others if CoCreate can do this too. :)

Hi,
make a gap, so that it's nor 360 degrees but, for instance 359 degrees. Or, even better, section the part in 2 180 degrees halves.
Now, add a small straight extrusion to the round part, so that you have a falke flat part that you can use as start face of a flat. Now use unfold.
It's not perfect, but at least you can re-construct a flat this way.

thank you for your reponce but I think I did not have that option with cocreate modeling personal edition.
When I click in the "unfold part" icon I have this message: Error - "No license enabled for the module "SheetAdvisor""

Sheet Metal and the associated flat pattern layout functionality is not part of CoCreate Modeling Personal Edition.
