Today when I started CoCreate PE v1.0 it took very long time - and then it
asked for a proxy server. I have been using PE for the last year and never
had any problems.

The exact message was as follows: "Connection failed. For Modeling PE to
automatically activate, it requires access to internet. Please check if a
proxy has to be specified, and enter your company's proxy server details
so that activation can proceed."

Then I tried to go to www.cocreate.com (http://www.cocreate.com) and login into forums - but the login
failed with a following message:

"ERROR: ptc.com Account Not Authenticated
Your cookies are disabled.
NOTE: You must accept cookies to be able to access this site."

I have the cookies enabled - but to make sure I deleted all cookies and tried
to access the site again - no cigar. I checked the cookies - and yes, cookies
from www.cocreate.com (http://www.cocreate.com) are saved on the comp - but the site keeps telling
me that cookies are disabled.

Then I tried to login into www.ptc.com (http://www.ptc.com) (same website it appears) - and could
log in without any problems.

The question: Is this some kind of a problem with the authentication server
? Or any kind of a problem at www.cocreate (http://www.cocreate). com ? I need to run PE - but
it appears that something goes wrong, and it is not on my end I think.

Does anyone still have similiar problem ? I have seen couple of threads, but they are about 1 month old...

Les Scholz

I have the same issue as you do.
I reinstalled after I login with my user name and password, but no avail.
I cannot use PE anymore.

The server is down since yesterday !

You don't have to re-install anything, and after the problem is solved, you don't have to give some proxy-information or anything else.

This problem comes from time to time and normally it stays a couple of days.

Thanks, Matthias.
At least the PE at home is working fine.
