Sweep

I'm trying to sweep a profile with a circle to create a cylindrical shape... but i'm stuck. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

It will effectively be a "handle".

Create one workplane with your sweep path on it (see sweep1.jpg). You're most of the way there in your picture, but have to many lines.
Then create a second worplane that contains the profile you want to sweep.
Normally I'd have the spline at the center of the circle, but did like you show so you'd understand.

Sweep the circle on w2 and select the geometry on w1 to be the "spine".
