I've an error:The installation directory it's not found: for NASTRAN

Hi,

first, find the location of the file nastran.exe (for example, by using Windows' search function).
After that, look for the directory DesignAdvisor, somewhere in your ...\CoCreate\...Modeling\ directory.
In that directory there's a file with the name da_customize.
Open it with Notepad, and find the command ferrum::ferrum-set-nastranexe
Change the path behind it to the correct path to nastran.exe
So, it could look like this:
(ferrum::ferrum-set-nastranexe "K:/FE_Analysis/NASTRAN_V70.5/msc705/i386/nastran.exe")
Mind the "/" instead of the "\" in the path!!

Are you sure you installed the FE analysis files? I don't think it is checked by default using the standard install process. If you can tell me which version you are running I can tell you the default path where the file should be installed. If you don't have the files you may need to run the install process again to add them.

I think you may need to install the module seperately. Try to find setup_fe.exe in your installation media, this should be helpful.
