Hi all,

does anyone can explain to me what the update command in Modeling do?
I mean the update command under the database command menu-

I have a part loaded in modeling market with 'Conflict' and only if i click on the update command, the Conflict disappears. Now I would like to reproduce this effect via java or via lisp ....
Does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks in advanced,
Nadia

The update command updates the model in Modeling from Model Manager. The 'Conflict' message appears because changes occurred in Model Manager that do not exist on the model in your session in Modeling. Why do you want the 'Conflict' message to show up in Modeling?

Does anyone know how Update differs from Reload? Sometimes I get them confused...they seem pretty similar and I'm not quite sure what the actual differences are "under the hood" as far as what they actually do...
