Creating flat views

Hello,

I am trying to create a flat view of a bent part. I can fold and unfold the part in 3D. When I try to make a falt view in Annotator, I am prompted for the "Base Face." When I click a face on the part I get "The body has no material attribute."

I've made flat views before, so I am probably forgetting something.

I am using OSD 12.01C.

I believe you have to assign material attributes to your part. Open the Sheet Metal module. Go to settings, selected part and assign material attribute to your part.

The Sheets menu that is part of the default install of OSD offers "Create by Outline" for creating a sheet metal part. One of the attributes is assigning a material attribute. I suspect the material options are set via the startup files.
