View Full Version : pressfits and view visibility

My assembly drawing is a 3 view, right/front/top. The parts are all visible in the right side view, but top and front are not all there. I have parts that overlap (pressfits) so suspect this is "hiding" my parts. I have not used manage view contents to turn off parts. How can I see all my parts on the screen without deleting parts from my assembly?
Thanks,
Marc

You need to change the overlapping parts to Pressfit. I believe this is in the Part & Assy menu in Modeling, under Mark Pressfits.

Marc,
Use the "Mark Pressfits" option under "Parts and Assy" in Modeling.
Here you can choose which part takes precedence in the 2d world.
Give it a try.
Gary.

We both had the same advice, it's just that May types faster than I do!! :)

Hello Marc,
but....please be careful with the pressfits! The more parts you pressfits the longer time annotation needs to generate your 2D-drawing! Therefore please pressfit only those parts you need.
best regards
Heiko
