Does anyone know how I can import all the customization I had in SD 11 to SD12?

This would include toolbars, user commands, Keyboard shortcuts, Etc..

Thanks

The method of saving customizations changed from version 11 to 12. Prior to version 12, most customizations were saved in the Windows Registry. Starting with 12, almost all are saved in files (with a few still in the Registry).

If you still have version 11 installed, you will need to Export your customizations to files as follows.

1. Click Edit, Settings, UI Settings
2. Open the Customizations tab
3. Click the Export Customizations button
4. In the message that pops up, make a note of the path listed. This is where the customization files will be written.

You will need to add the customizations you want to keep to the user folder for version 12. The path is usually something like

C:\Documents and Settings\userid\Application Data\CoCreate\OSD_Modeling\12.00

How to migrate them is somewhat complicated, but you might be able to just copy your custom toolbar files (*.tlb) into this folder. You can find some help on migrating customizations in the What's New for version 12 which can be accessed from the Help menu. Click on the User Interface link and scroll down to the section titled Customization.
