I am using ME10 v.10.5 and had to change from Win NT to Win 2000. Now I can't create DWG/DXF files from my MI files. I keep getting a message "Can not create Process". Does antone know how to correct this or get around this?

I don't remember if 10.50 was officially supported under Windows 2000, but I believe it works OK. I have 10.50 installed under Windows 2000 and can test it. Can you provide details on how you are trying to create the DWG/DXF files? Are you trying to save from inside ME10? Which UI? Are you trying to use the external translator?

Did you reinstall ME10 after your Windows was updated to 2000?

Hi John,

I tried using the converter from both inside and outside ME10, no luck on either. I am using the standard interface not the Windows interface. The DXF configuration file is the same file from my NT box. My Win 2000 computer is a replacement for my NT computer so ME10 was a new install into Win2000.

Well I can't duplicate the problem, so it can work correctly under Windows 2000. I don't recall ever seeing that error message, but I did a search and found a reference to it. It was not about DXF translation, but indicated that the cause of the message was installing ME10 into a path with blanks (such as "C:\Program Files\CoCreate\ME10....") and having an executable with the same full path up do the blank (such as C:\program.exe).

You might try reinstalling into a path with no blanks, such as "C:\CoCreate\ME10...". The report indicated that this bug was fixed in version 11.0.
