Sometimes when I do subtract, like when I'm making a fixture for our product, I'll start out by subracting the product from the fixture. But the product is an assembly of many parts and the subract function only lets you select single parts. I want to select the assembly in the browser. Can we make this happen?

If you use the select list, you can choose all parts in an assembly when subtracting.
Subtract>Select>parts>recursive (if you have sub-assys)>In Assembly
Then select the assembly.
Gary.

Yeah, that's a nice work-around. I usually turn off everything except for what I want to select, and then select by VPFrame. But shouldn't we be able to just select the assembly?
Isn't this just a matter of saying allow parts and assemblies for that dialog box?
