View Full Version : Saving a BDL file doesn't save workplanes

Hi,

I'm wonder if anyone else out there saving models and drawings as Bundle files has this problem:

When saving a bundle (something I do often), if I have workplanes in my model at the root level, they are no longer there when I open the saved BDL file.

The workplanes seem to be kept intact if they are in an assembly (that is, no longer the root level).

Is this a bug? Or am I just doing something stupid?

When you save a bundle file, it saves the drawing and the model that owns that viewset, not "all at top".

When saving the bundle, you can go into modeling and select "all at top" and then the workplanes will be saved as well.

Ah...

I have a "Save Bundle All At Top" option from my File pull-down menu (I don't think its a standard option; it may be part of my company's site customization). However, based on the response (Thanks Gary), it may not be grabbing everything on top.

I need to do more investigating on my part. Thanks again.
