Hello.

does anyone know how to inquire all the existing dimensions inside Annotation module ? I want to get them into one list for later processing.

Hi Sinan,

your post have been read 37 times.. and no one had an idea. May be there's some information missing in your question.

to inquire all the existing dimensions
this sounds more like "select all dimensions in drawing" than an inquire.

"Inquire" has more the meaning of 'asking for a property of a dimension - of the defaults'.

Would you clarify what you like to do?

Hi Wolfgang,

I have already found a method but in case I was not clear enough here is what I meant :

At the moment I am adding to our "SolidGenius" library the option to automatically correct thread dimensions inside Annotation.

As you know, if you define a non-metric thread in Modelling (UNC,UNF,Trapezoid,Whitworth ..etc) and you dimension it inside Annotation - you always get M.. and not R,Tr,UNC ..etc.

I wanted - to "inquire"all the parameters of a dimension - like value, prefix, postfix, dim line reference point ..etc. find which ones which belong to threads and correct them automatically.

In the meantime it is running and I am beta-testing it.

Anyway thank you !
