Hi everybody,

Is there anybody who knows something about a DIRECT integration between OSD-Modeling and SAP PLM (whithout using WorkManager or Model-Manager) ?

Thanks for your feedback.

This doesn't answer your question but attached is a PDF of CoCreate's SAP Process Adapter.

The reason for specific CAD data management is that assembly structures, revision history on parts/assys and where-used queries get very complicated for any CAD system (Flat-files, like CoCreate's convenient PKG format, cannot handle these topics because of their ZIP-like nature) Model Manger, just like Smarteam (http://www.smarteam.com/homepage.asp) for SolidWorks and Pro/Intralink (http://www.ptc.com/appserver/it/icm/cda/icm01_list.jsp?group=201&num=1&show=y&keyword=463) for Pro/Engineer, address these issues because each vendor knows how to work with their data the best. The trick is to communicate seamlessly with the outside world and pass this CAD and BOM information bi-directionally. Currently, CoCreate has such an integration and that's with SAP.

Hello David,

I have already heard about SAP Adapter for WM ( OneSpace Manager ) and I was almost convinced that there is no other alternative.
Now, I'm totally sure that it is the right way to integrate both application.

Thank you for the information.
