Flat view problem

I am trying to do a flat view of a bent part in annotator.

In OSD I can fold and unfold the part. In annotator, I created a new sheet with a front view. I think clicked the "Create Flat" button. The 3D version opened in another window. When I click the Base Face on the part, I get a message saying "The Body Has No Material Attribute."

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I was having that problem myself. It turns out the problem seems to be in the way the part was created. Rather than extruding your work plane, you need to create a sheet metal part using the By Outline function in Sheet Metal (this is not in the icon UI, you'll have to turn on the Main Task Bar).

The good news is that I was able to create a simple sheet metal part in this way then merge it with the complex part I'd already created, and this gave it the necessary material properties.
