I tried out the Offset Align goody as mentioned in http://www.cocreateusers.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=255 and I get an error message "LISP error:
The function ELAN::OFFSET_FACE_PART is undefined.". If I hit OK on the error message (or Cancel on the Utility toolbar, which has the same effect  ), the operation continues as if it was an ordinary Align. I'm running OSD 11.65 on Win2000. Any idea what's wrong?

Hi Jim,

You have to have the 'Surfacing' module active. The offset face part command belongs to this module. If the module is not activated the command doesn't exist or cannot be called.

Thanks. I thought that might be the reason, but was hoping it wasn't, as we have only one surfacing module shared by twenty users. :( This makes it more obvious yet that this function needs to be built in to the standard Modify 3D command set instead of being a goody.

"Align with Offset" has been implemented in Designer Modeling 2006 (v14.0)under the 3D Modify > Align menu.
