Unable to trim geometry?

I have a sketch that was created as the result of importing an ME10 .mi file. This sketch contains geometry, a hatch, and a couple of dimensions (it is a section of an O-ring).

I am trying to trim some lines in this sketch, and through I can click on them (it cycles through "click first, click second"), the geometry does not trim.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Dissimilar owners? That happens to me when I'm trying to trim items that belong to different owners. You can use the Move Elements command to assign all the parts to the same owner.
