I just switched from NT to WIN 2000, service pack 3 on my desktop computer. Although I haven't found any serious problems, my cursor contantly flickers in the viewport and I often have a small "square" of legacy graphics data that remains until I do a screen refresh, like a new view. I am running OSD 11.50 on an HP visualize workstation. There are 2 display adpaters listed in my device manager. First is an HP visualize fx series with dirver 211.0.0.0. Second is a cirrus logic 5480 compatible graphics adapter using driver version 5.0.2184.1. Both are functioning properly according to the device manager. Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of this cursor flicker and legacy data? Thanks,

Marc von Amsberg

Marc,
In the mouse settings, make sure that "Enable pointer shadow" is unchecked.
Gary.

See also the notes on Visualize fx+ cards in the graphics card certification page at http://www.cocreate.com/osd_graphicscards.
